Holandské Ronde van Drenthe preto sledovalo veľkú naháňačku prokonti a konti tímov za masou bodov. Zvíťazil po špurte sedemčlenného úniku Čech František Sisr z CCC Sprandi Polkowice, pre ktorého je to jasne najväčší výsledok kariéry.
